Phil has a vast amount of experience across forestry and port logistics. He has always been attracted to the extremely competitive, hardworking fast paced nature of port operations.

Phil is proud of NFA’s growth which is a reflection of our dedicated staff and our loyal customer base which has formed NFA into an innovative, hardworking and highly successful port logistic company.

Phil says, "Over the last 10 years I have really come to understand the importance of sound leadership and get enormous satisfaction in mentoring and developing staff and seeing them succeed in their roles." At the end of the day he says, “it's all about the people.”

Outside of work, Phil enjoys heading into Central Otago, mountain biking and jet boating, with the latter consuming a reasonable amount of time pushing when high and dry on the tricky South Island rivers
